When Less Is More: Cuyana

I’ve always loved the classic simplicity of pieces from Cuyana; I purchased this beautiful Wide Brimmed Summer Hat this year and I’ve received an insane number of compliments while wearing it. Seeing this gorgeous cashmere wrap sweater in their latest email - I’m sold on my next purchase. I missed out on a similar style wrap from Madewell last year. I’m not a fan of itchy sweaters so this upgraded cashmere is perfect for my wardrobe and something that I could see myself reaching for constantly.

Below are some of my favorite beauty treatments that I’ve enjoyed during quarantine. A handful of these are at a “treat yourself” price point but I’ve had no regrets! I can’t believe it took me so long to try the Laneige Lip Mask; it’s incredibly moisturizing and I love that it comes with an applicator.

A New Mani

When fall rolls around you’ll usually find me wearing the same nail colors. Essie’s Topless & Barefoot, Wicked, and Chinchilly are my go-tos. They’re great fall colors but insanely predictable which is why when I saw this crisp clean mani on IG I immediately hit “follow.” I’m not usually a fan of the french manicure but this one felt so modern. Fun fact: I actually had a french mani at my wedding that I changed last min because it was so not me!

Since the pandemic I’ve been dressing for work in an entirely new way. I used to love getting dressed up for work; I even had a Rent the Runway subscription because I enjoyed having new pieces to mix and match with my staples. Working from home I’ve been drawn to more casual, easy pieces like the ones below. I joke that the traditional house dress/coat has gotten an update!

This summer I’ve been drawn towards more minimal pieces. I could see any of these pairs becoming a wardrobe staple that I’d reach for constantly. I recently purchased these amazing leather braided sandals from MANGO as a first foray into simple slides.
